They can't move past shadow banning sex therapists with the same broad brush they use on porn. Social media is left with a huge responsibility to uphold "community standards" without being equipped to understand it, so it all gets lumped together and pushed back underground.

While sex is everywhere on our screens, we still live in a world where banks, investors feel safer funding wars than ventures that help us build healthy relationships with desire. Influencers who would personally love to align with sex tech ventures feel it is too risky for their brand. Even the latest science is researching the wrong rabbit holes.

But the truth is, humans are erotic beings. None of us would exist without sex.

 

And sex is not going away.
